White Christmas Tree

“I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Tree”

White Christmas was written by Irving Berlin in 1942. It was made famous by Bing Crosby in 1954 with the release of the film White Christmas. It’s considered the best selling single of all time with estimated sales of 100 million copies sold worldwide. It’s a timeless holiday classic. Combine that classic tune with a snow white Christmas tree and that my friends is a beautiful Christmas Tree to behold!

So why not a white Christmas Tree?

A white Christmas Tree is actually the second most popular color for artificial Christmas trees other than green in most states and these a few of the reasons why.

To begin with we need to look at what this color represents to the viewer. White is considered to be the color of perfection.White means safety, purity, and clean lines.  White can also represent a successful beginning.Who wouldn’t want a perfect, safe, clean and modern Christmas tree that represents a successful beginning to the New Year?

Like a blank canvas with the artist’s brush and color palette in hand, a white Christmas tree can take on any look. Even if the artist, in this case the tree owner wants that look to change over time. A white Christmas tree is timeless and versatile.

The versatility of a white Christmas tree also allows it to be used outside of Christmas. Many white modern Christmas tree owners leave their tree standing year round as an art piece and a way to celebrate other holidays. Perhaps green balls and shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day or the colors of the flag on the 4th of July. The white modern Christmas tree has been a central piece many holiday celebrations.

“May your days be merry and bright

And may all your Christmases (and other holidays) be white”
